Patrik Lindberg, besser bekannt als f0rest, spielt erfolgreich bei fnatic. Kurz vor dem Overallfinal der NGL ONE Finals 2007/2008 fragten wir ihn ein wenig aus.

GameSports.net: Hi f0rest, you and your team were handled as the big favourite before the finals. Do you think you still fit in this role?

f0rest: Yes I think we are still the big favourite for winning the title. We also have the advantage that we only have to win one best-of-three. I don't really think it is possible for us to lose this match and a win should be pretty easy.

There were some very close games when you played versus Alternate yesterday. You won one map with the score of 16-14 and another one ended 16-12. Did you expect Alternate being that strong at the finals? Many people didn't count them to be the favourite because they changed their lineup recently.

We knew Alternate is a very good team. We faced them several times at other leagues and events and for us they were the strongest team to face here in Berlin. Of course, we were really happy winning.

But also roccat surprised a lot of people and showed some teriffic games yesterday and today, too. Do you think they have a realistic chance of winning this title?

To be honest with you, I don't think they have! Meeting us in the final is such a hard task for them and we have a huge advantage that they really don't have a chance.

Like you mentioned before you only have to win one best-of-three and this is a big advantage. But how big is the pressure laying on you to not lose these games?

Of course, there is always big pressure and if they might win one best-of-three the pressure will increase a lot but I am confident that we will win.

Do you think it is an advantage for roccat that they already played some serious matches before and that they are in a kind of "competition mode" already?

Of course, it is good for them that they already played serious games today. They will also be very hungry winning the overall final since they won the consolation final.

So how will you prepare for this match? Just playing some funwars or will you warm up with fun- and aimmaps?

To be honest I was just about downloading some surfmaps because I want to surf a bit now. *laughing*

Yesterday you lost two maps, train and nuke. Are those two maps you're weakest and did you changed something on your playstyle and tactics on those?

No, they are not really bad for us. The map, we lost to Alternate, we won to roccat for example. And so the other way around. When teams are very good at some maps they surely have a chance beating us but we proved that we can win them too.

All in all, what do you think about the finals? What are positives or negatives sides?

They are pretty fine. I always liked NGL Finals. Mostly, they are not that big and the computers are fine, too. Also the organisation is very nice. One thing I am not happy about is the noise you have while many Teams play together like yesterday but all in all it is very nice.
